11 out of 15

I have 11 out of 15 main backgrounds done for the first act of my animation. I couldn't complete the rest due to taking them back to the drawing board to figure out better layouts for them but I am on track with what needs to be done and I should have them finished by Friday evening. I will start placing characters in my shots and work on staging the scenes by Monday. 

New Calendar

October 12 - Backgrounds for scenes 1 - 5 will be scanned in and the process of working on finalizing their full colors/textures is happening.

October 13 - Backgrounds for scenes 1 - 5 are done and the backgrounds for scenes 6 - 10 will be scanned in and having colors/texture on them.

October 14 - Backgrounds for scenes 6 - 10 are done and the backgrounds for scenes 11 - 15 are scanned in and having colors/texture added to them.

October 15 - Backgrounds for scenes 11 - 15 are done and the backgrounds for scenes 15 - 20 are scanned in and having colors/texture added to them. Will be on the road during this time but I will have my computer with me to make sure that everything is done.


October 16 - Backgrounds for scenes 15 - 20 are done and some character staging begins to happen for the necessary scenes that are already completed.

Here is an example of the direction I am going with the backgrounds, this is just a color comp but it should help with gathering a clear idea.

Here are the drawings for the first five scenes, I am in the process of rendering them so they work with the animation.

Designs

So it totally makes sense that nothing posts on time when you don't hit the publish post button.....yeah, uhm these are my concepts for Shakti(female), Jinn(demon), and Krishna(male). I have to rescan Krishna because of how odd he came out. I will also redesign him some. Now to find my color comps of them. I also included some background sketches to help flesh out my universe some more.
